Barrington Walker is in his seventies, dapper, charming and a pillar of his community in Hackney, a husband, father and grandfather who came to London from Antigua as a young man. For most of his life he has also been in love with his best friend Morris, a secret he has kept from his churchgoing wife Carmel and their daughters. As his marriage frays and his family starts asking questions, Barry has to decide whether, this late in life, he can finally choose himself.
