Rent

Rent is a rock musical loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's La Boheme, following a group of young artists in New York City's East Village in the late 1980s. As they struggle with poverty, addiction, unstable relationships and the AIDS crisis, the show traces their attempts to keep creating, loving and surviving in a city that offers little security.
