Jesus Christ Superstar

Amid rusting iron girders and a fallen cross that doubles as a catwalk, a company in drab contemporary clothes gathers around Jesus of Nazareth like the crowd at a rock gig. Judas Iscariot, the friend who knows him best, fears that the adulation is spiralling out of control and will bring the authorities down on everyone, while the priests plot, Pilate agonises and Mary Magdalene offers a love she does not know how to express.
