Manon

On her way to a convent, the young Manon stops at a coaching inn outside Paris and meets Des Grieux, a penniless student who falls for her on sight. Her brother Lescaut has other plans: he sees his sister as a fortune waiting to be sold, and the wealthy Monsieur G.M. is ready to pay. Pulled between a love that offers nothing but devotion and a world of jewels, furs and gilded salons, Manon has to keep choosing, and every choice comes at a price.
