Hamlet

On board the Elsinore, a Danish royal liner ploughing through black northern waters, the old king has been buried at sea, and his brother Claudius already wears the crown and has wed the widowed queen. Summoned deep into the engine room, young Hamlet meets a spirit who names Claudius as a murderer. Across one feverish night of dinners, dances and a troupe of travelling players, the prince feigns madness to test what he has heard, while the ship steams on towards the ice.
