Fun Home

On a bare, turning stage ringed by a drawing desk, a grand piano and a chaise longue, the cartoonist Alison sifts through her memories to make sense of her father, Bruce. She revisits a childhood spent among the caskets of the family's funeral home in small-town Pennsylvania, and her time at college, where she realises she is a lesbian, all the while trying to understand the exacting, closeted man whose secrets shaped the household.
