After the Act

After the Act is a verbatim musical by Breach Theatre that examines the introduction of Section 28, the 1988 UK law that barred local authorities and schools from ‘promoting’ homosexuality. Drawing on the real words of teachers, pupils and activists, it traces how the legislation shaped everyday life and public debate in Britain.
