Dragon Mama

Dragon Mama is the second instalment of Sara Porkalob's autobiographical trilogy The Dragon Cycle. The play follows Maria Porkalob, Jr., a young Filipina American woman navigating life in Bremerton, Washington, who dreams of a bigger, freer existence beyond her struggling family's circumstances. When an unexpected opportunity to escape to Alaska arises, she faces an impossible choice between pursuing her own freedom and remaining loyal to her family.
