Dragon Lady is a solo musical by Sara Porkalob about her grandmother, Maria Porkalob Sr., a Filipino singer whose life moves from the nightlife of Manila to the immigrant experience in the Pacific Northwest. Set on the eve of Maria's 60th birthday, the story unfolds in a basement with a karaoke machine humming nearby as she reflects on her past.
