Oedipus

Robert Icke's Oedipus is a contemporary reworking of Sophocles' tragedy, written and directed by Icke and played out in real time on an election night. Oedipus, a politician on the brink of a landslide victory, waits for the results with his wife Jocasta and his brother-in-law and adviser Creon, while doubts about his birth certificate lead to devastating revelations about his true parentage.
