Alcina

On an enchanted island where green meadows glide in and out of view, the sorceress Alcina keeps a steady supply of lovers and turns them into animals when she tires of them. Her latest conquest, Ruggiero, is besotted, but Bradamante, the woman he is pledged to, arrives disguised as a young man to win him back, and Alcina's sister Morgana falls for the newcomer. As jealousy spreads, Alcina's spell begins to slip.
