The King and I

Rodgers and Hammerstein’s "The King and I" is a classic musical adapted from Margaret Landon’s novel "Anna and the King of Siam". It follows Anna Leonowens, a widowed British schoolteacher who arrives in Siam to educate the King’s many children and, in the process, finds herself navigating a court shaped by ceremony, politics and competing ideas about tradition and reform.
