Miss Saigon

Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil’s Miss Saigon is a musical inspired by Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, relocating the story to Vietnam in the 1970s. It centres on Kim, a young Vietnamese bar girl, and Chris, an American GI, whose brief romance is shattered by the Vietnam War and the upheaval that follows.
