Cats

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats is a sung-through musical inspired by T. S. Eliot’s 1939 poetry collection Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, with additional lyrics by Trevor Nunn. On a single moonlit night, the Jellicle cats gather for their annual ball, introducing their personalities, rivalries and stories as they await the decision of which one will be granted a new life in the Heaviside Layer.
