Fame

Fame the Musical is set at New York City's High School for the Performing Arts, where a new class of students arrives in 1980 and follows the pressures and possibilities of a four-year training programme through to graduation in 1984. As they work towards careers on stage, they are pushed to balance talent, discipline and ambition with the realities of competition, identity and growing up.
