Chicago

In a jazz-age Chicago built from little more than black costumes, bentwood chairs and a bandstand, chorus girl Roxie Hart shoots the lover who is walking out on her and lands on murderers' row at the county jail. There she meets vaudeville star Velma Kelly, the dealmaking matron Mama Morton and Billy Flynn, a smooth lawyer who knows how to turn a killer into a front-page darling.
