Jitney

Set in a worn-down gypsy cab station in Pittsburgh's Hill District in 1977, Jitney follows a group of unlicensed taxi drivers whose workplace doubles as a refuge, a source of income, and a place of uneasy loyalty. August Wilson's ensemble drama observes the routines, rivalries, and shared histories that shape their days as the neighbourhood around them continues to change.
