Buyer & Cellar

Jonathan Tolins’s one-man comedy follows Alex More, a struggling actor in Los Angeles who lands an extraordinary job: working in Barbra Streisand’s basement shopping mall, a private space filled with her collections and memorabilia. As Alex navigates this improbable world, the play draws humour from celebrity worship and the absurdities of fame, while also revealing the loneliness and self-invention behind the fantasy.
