Backstairs Billy

Set in 1979, Backstairs Billy offers a sharp, comic portrait of the Queen Mother and her devoted page William "Billy" Tallon, whose close working relationship becomes the emotional centre of life inside Clarence House. As Britain faces strikes and political unrest, the private routines and social certainties of the royal household begin to feel increasingly fragile.
