Stereophonic

Stereophonic is a stage play by David Adjmi with original music by Will Butler, set in the late 1970s as a fictional British-American rock band begins recording its second album. The piece observes the group in close detail, tracing the strain of artistic ambition, shifting loyalties, and the pressures that build inside the studio.
