Follies

Follies is a Stephen Sondheim musical set in a crumbling Broadway theatre that is due to be demolished, once home to the Weismann Follies revue. As a reunion of former performers gets underway, the evening turns into a reckoning with memory, regret and the lives the characters have made for themselves, especially the two couples at its centre, Sally and Buddy Plummer, and Ben and Phyllis Stone.
