A Little Night Music

A Little Night Music is Stephen Sondheim's musical inspired by Ingmar Bergman's film Smiles of a Summer Night. Set in early 20th-century Sweden, it follows a tangle of romantic attachments among a middle-aged lawyer, his much younger wife, his son, a celebrated actress, and the people connected to them.
