Woyzeck

Georg Büchner’s unfinished play, written in 1836, follows Franz Woyzeck, a low-rank soldier trapped by poverty and exploitation. Subjected to humiliating orders and dubious medical experiments, he begins to lose his grip on reality as jealousy and haunting visions put increasing pressure on his life with Marie.
