Peter Gynt

David Hare's Peter Gynt is a contemporary reworking of Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt, relocating the story to Scotland. It follows Peter across the extravagant and often absurd chapters of his life as he tries to prove himself exceptional, only to be carried into a chain of increasingly strange adventures.
