Brief Encounter

Brief Encounter is a tender stage drama about Laura, a respectable housewife, and Alec, an idealistic doctor, whose chance meeting in a railway station tea room grows into a brief but emotionally charged affair. Set in 1930s Britain, the play traces the pull between personal desire and social duty as the pair try to navigate love, marriage and restraint.
