Rock Me Amadeus

The show opens with news of a fatal car crash in the Dominican Republic, then goes back to Hans Hölzel, a Viennese boy who dreams of stardom. It follows him through Vienna's underground club scene of the eighties to international fame as the pop star Falco, and dramatises the rift between the private man and the persona he invented, who appears on stage as a separate character, the Alter Ego.
