Golden Boy

Behind tall folding shutters in a bare white house, a string quartet plays the music Joe Bonaparte was raised for. He is a gifted young violinist from an Italian-American family in Depression-era New York, but he is hungry for fame and money, and when a chance comes to step into the ring he finds he can fight. The manager Tom Moody, his girlfriend Lorna Moon and the men around them see a fortune in Joe's fists as his father watches him go.
