Steel Pier

Set in August 1933 at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, Steel Pier follows a dance marathon staged against the hardship of the Great Depression. At the centre is Rita Racine, a charismatic young woman drawn into a rigged contest run by the scheming Mick Hamilton, where endurance, ambition and illusion all collide.
