Los Chicos Del Coro

Los chicos del coro is the Spanish-language version of Les Choristes, the stage musical that Christophe Barratier and Philippe Lopes-Curval made from Barratier's 2004 film, itself inspired by the 1945 French film La Cage aux rossignols. In 1949 Clément Mathieu, an out-of-work musician, becomes a supervisor at Fond de l'Étang, a boarding school for troubled boys run with an iron hand by its headmaster, Rachin. Defying the rules, he forms a choir, and music begins to change the boys' lives. The score is by Bruno Coulais and Barratier.
