Hamnet

Lolita Chakrabarti’s stage adaptation of Maggie O’Farrell’s novel brings the world of late 16th-century Stratford-upon-Avon to the stage, following the family life of William Shakespeare, his wife Agnes, and their children. At its heart is the story of Hamnet, Shakespeare’s only son, whose untimely death sends ripples through the household and leaves the family to confront grief, love and loss.
