The Tempest

The Tempest is one of William Shakespeare's late plays, first performed in 1611. Set on a remote, enchanted island, it follows Prospero, the rightful Duke of Milan, who has been exiled after his brother seized power. Using magic and illusion, Prospero brings his enemies to the island, setting the stage for a reckoning with betrayal, power and control.
