Game of Thrones: The Mad King

In the years before A Game of Thrones, a long winter is thawing and the great houses of Westeros gather at Harrenhal for a banquet and a jousting tournament. Behind the feasting and the jousts, members of King Aerys II Targaryen's inner circle, alarmed by his growing cruelty, begin to plot against him. Among the lords and knights are figures familiar from the saga, including Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, Robert Baratheon, Eddard Stark and Jaime Lannister, as loyalty to family, crown and prophecy is put to the test.
