Medea

Euripides' Medea is a Greek tragedy set in Corinth, where Medea confronts the collapse of her marriage after Jason abandons her for the daughter of King Creon. Cut off from safety and status, she uses her intelligence and fierce will to negotiate for time while the Chorus of Corinthian women watches the crisis unfold.
