Equus

Peter Shaffer's Equus is a psychological drama centred on psychiatrist Martin Dysart, who is drawn into the case of Alan Strang, a troubled teenager after a violent act involving horses. As Dysart unpicks Alan's obsession through a series of therapeutic sessions, the play becomes an investigation into faith, desire, shame and the cost of conformity.
