Daddy Long Legs

Set in early 20th-century New England, Daddy Long Legs follows Jerusha Abbott, an orphan at the John Grier Home who is given a college scholarship by an unknown benefactor. After glimpsing his long shadow, she nicknames him Daddy Long Legs, and the arrangement requires her to send him monthly letters describing her life beyond the orphanage.
