Cloud 9

Under a wide blue sky, a British family poses as the perfect colonial household in Victorian Africa: Clive, the administrator and patriarch, his wife Betty, his young son Edward and Joshua, his servant. None of them is what they seem, and desires of every kind leak through the starch. In the second half the same family turns up in a London park in the late 1970s, older by only twenty-five years, working out who they can be in a world that has started to change.
