Man to Man

A solo play centred on Ella Gericke, a German widow who takes on her dead husband’s identity in order to keep his job and stay afloat through the political turmoil of 20th-century Germany. Told as a lyrical monologue, it follows the compromises and reinventions required simply to survive.
