Iphigénie en Tauride

Spared from sacrifice by the goddess Diana, Iphigénie has spent years as a priestess in a forlorn temple at the ends of the earth, serving a frightening ruler who demands the blood of any stranger who lands on his shore. She clings to the hope of seeing her brother Oreste again, though she fears he is dead. When two shipwrecked Greeks are dragged before her with news of her family's ruin, one of them may be closer to her than she knows.
