Bacchae

Nima Taleghani's 2025 reimagining of Euripides' Bacchae is set in Thebes, where the women of the city refuse to stay on the sidelines as the influence of Dionysos begins to upend the royal order. Against this charged backdrop, King Pentheus finds himself drawn into a clash of family loyalty, power and desire.
