Swept Away

Off the coast of New Bedford, Massachusetts, in the late 19th century, a violent storm sinks a whaling ship and leaves four men adrift in a lifeboat: a captain at the end of a long career at sea, a worldly first mate who has fallen from grace, and two brothers from a family farm, the younger hungry for adventure and the elder sworn to protect him. With no food, no water and no rescue in sight, the four are pushed to the limits of faith and loyalty. Years later, the dying Mate is still haunted by what happened in that boat.
