King Kong

In Depression-era New York, aspiring actress Ann Darrow accepts a filmmaker’s promise of stardom and joins his voyage to an uncharted island. There they encounter Kong, a giant ape whom the filmmaker sees as a sensational discovery. As his plans take shape, Ann finds herself drawn to the creature and questions the cost of turning him into a spectacle.
