The Children

In a seaside cottage on the English coast, wrapped in this staging by the hardware of a nuclear plant, retired engineers Hazel and Robin are making do after a disaster at the power station where they once worked. Hazel does yoga and keeps a Geiger counter in the kitchen drawer; Robin keeps the cellar stocked with homemade wine. Then Rose, a former colleague they have not seen for decades, turns up unannounced with a request that will test all three.
