The Wiz

The Wiz is a stage musical reimagining of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz through the lens of contemporary African-American culture. Dorothy is swept from her familiar world into the Land of Oz by a tornado, where she sets out to find the Wiz, hoping he can help her return home.
