Alice by Heart

Set in an Underground station during the London Blitz, Alice by Heart follows teenager Alice and her ailing friend Alfred as they shelter from the bombing above. To distract them from the war and Alfred’s illness, Alice leads him into a Wonderland-inflected world shaped by Lewis Carroll’s stories, where imagination becomes a way to endure fear and uncertainty.
