Oor Wullie is a family musical based on DC Thomson's comic-strip character, who first appeared in The Sunday Post in 1936. Written by the Noisemaker partnership of Scott Gilmour (book and lyrics) and Claire McKenzie (music), it follows Wullie as the search for his lost bucket takes him out of the comic and into the real world, where he meets Wahid, a Scottish Pakistani boy struggling to fit in, joined by Fat Boab, Soapy Soutar, Wee Eck, PC Murdoch and the bully Basher McKenzie. Produced by Dundee Rep and Selladoor Worldwide and directed by Andrew Panton.
