Tosca

A concert hall of mid-century architecture, in an unnamed European state torn apart by civil conflict as foreign forces gather at the border. Here the opera singer Floria Tosca plans a secret meeting with her lover, the painter Mario Cavaradossi, who is sheltering an escaped political prisoner. When the corrupt police chief Scarpia arrives, a place of music becomes a place of fear and violence, and over a single night Tosca must fight for her love, her honour and her life.
