Tivoli Lovely

Kitty is 85, sharp-tongued and a former chorus girl, and she has been paired with a troubled teenager for a school project. As she talks, her memories carry the story back to the post-war years and Australia's Tivoli variety circuit, where the young Kitty is swept into the sequinned world of the showgirls and falls in with the Eleven Kevins, an eccentric tap-dancing troupe. When one of the Kevins is killed in an on-stage accident, their leader, Daddy Kevin Watkins, has to find a replacement fast to keep the act, and its rhyming name, alive.
