Ich war noch niemals in New York

Lisa Wartberg, an ambitious television presenter, has no time for anything but her career, until her mother Maria runs away from her care home with a fellow resident, Otto Staudach, meaning to marry him beneath the Statue of Liberty. Lisa gives chase with Otto's son Axel, a wildlife photographer with his young son Florian in tow, and Lisa's make-up artist Fred and his partner Costa, and they all end up aboard a cruise liner bound for New York.
