The Upstart Crow

Ben Elton's stage version of The Upstart Crow follows William Shakespeare in 1605 as he struggles with writer's block and the pressure to deliver another success after a run of flops. Around him, the business of theatre and the demands of family life keep colliding, leaving him to juggle ambitious actors, domestic disruption and the expectations of the court.
