Bandstand: The New American Musical

Bandstand follows a group of World War II veterans who form a band and enter a national radio contest, hoping music will give them a way forward after the war. As they rehearse and perform, the men must confront the emotional cost of combat, including post-traumatic stress and survivor's guilt, while trying to reconnect with civilian life.
